Lobbying politicians to introduce and pass animal protection legislation and to defeat unfriendly legislation is crucial.
In order to be the most effective for animals, Minnesota Voters for Animal Protection makes pragmatic and timely decisions about which legislation to pursue. MVAP identifies animal protection issues in select Minnesota jurisdictions and develops lobbying and public outreach campaigns. These campaigns may be initiated by MVAP alone, or may be coordinated with other humane individuals or organizations.
