Highlights of our work

Minnesota Voters for Animal Protection was incorporated as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit in 2009. In our short history, we’ve had the pleasure of working to protect Minnesota’s animals by promoting humane legislation and legislators by taking action in several ways.

Legislative work- Our legislative work involves monitoring bills that affect animals, issuing alerts to our supporters when important action affecting these bills is taking place, and tracking how legislators vote on animal bills.

Electoral work- Our electoral work involvesĀ endorsing humane candidates and providing grassroots support to their campaigns.

Outreach and education work- Our outreach and education work involves having booths at events around Minnesota, collecting petitions in support of humane legislation, and giving humane education presentations in colleges, high schools, and elementary schools.
