On November 2, 2010, we have a great opportunity to elect some animal-friendly candidates to office in Minnesota. All seats in the Minnesota Legislature will be up for election and we will also have an opportunity to elect a new governor.
 

Learn how your vote can help Minnesota’s animals!

Here are simple steps to follow so you can make sure your vote helps animals:

1. You will vote for governor and for two candidates to the Minnesota Legislature- one for the Minnesota Senate and one for the Minnesota House of Representatives.

2. Find out which candidates are running in your district here. Simply type in your address and you’ll find your district number along with a list of all candidates running for whom you may vote. Here is a simpler list of only candidates for the Minnesota Legislature.

4. What happens if the candidates in your district are not on the Recommended Candidate list? How do you learn how your candidates feel about animal issues?
