After months of deliberation and research, Minnesota Voters for Animal Protection has decided to place its volunteer resources behind Barb Goodwin, the newly endorsed DFL candidate for State Senate District 50. For more information read here.
We’d love your volunteer help! Volunteering on Barb’s campaign will allow MVAP to build a long-term relationship with a future state Senator who can serve as our ally in the State House. If you haven’t told us yet that you’d like to help, please send us an email here. From now until early-August, you will receive e-mail updates and requests to volunteer on Barb’s campaign.
Here’s an opportunity to volunteer from the comfort of your home! Barb needs volunteers to call through voter lists to gauge voter interest in her campaign.
If you are available to make calls to voters on behalf of Barb, please respond via email or call Cynthia, our elections volunteer coordinator, at (917) 621-7374. Cynthia will then send you the call list and will guide you through the suggested script.
Again, these calls can be made from your home and at your pace. These calls are vital to Barb’s campaign because the results from these calls will inform which households Barb will visit (door-knock) in the next few weeks.
Remember, the Minnesota primary is on August 10th, so we don’t have much time left to help Barb win!
If you are available to make calls to voters on behalf of Barb, please let us know and be sure to provide your phone number. Thank you!
