Twenty cats were found in a pole building with no lights on, no windows, no ventilation and no fresh food or water.
Thankfully the St. Louis County Attorney’s office is taking this seriously. “We are serious about prosecuting animal cruelty cases,” St. Louis County Attorney Melanie Ford said in a prepared statement. “Defenseless animals suffer greatly and we will pursue justice in this case.”
